Über das Projekt

On the El Girasol farmin the Colombian Quindío region, Robinson Ortizis the third generation to grow specialty coffee. Amidst banana, avocado, and citrus trees, the coffee plants thrive at an altitude of approximately 1,750 metersunder ideal conditions.

After harvesting, only ripe coffee cherries are hand-picked, carefully sorted, fermented for 36 hours, and then dried under the Colombian sun. The result is an espresso with great sweetness, a pleasant clarity, and precisely the balance we love.

Through our CARETRADE approach, we work long-term and directly with producers like Robinson – fairly, transparently, and always with the goal of making even better coffee together.
